I suppose I learned a bit about things like Tourettes, Asperger’s and even the hardships of those who have dyslexia through stories like these. My review: I found this an inspiring and moving read of navigating life and school with Tourette’s syndrome. Ellie Terry’s affecting debut will speak to a wide audience about being true to oneself. But is he brave enough to take their friendship public? As Calliope navigates school, she must also face her mother’s new relationship and the fact that she might be moving – again – just as she starts to make friends and finally accepts her differences.
